As 2023 draws to a close, it's a fitting moment for us at Edge Impact to pause and reflect on a year marked by exceptional growth and significant strides in our mission to foster sustainable development worldwide.
This year has seen the urgency of climate action, sustainable supply chains, circular economy initiatives, and digitalisation in sustainability reach unprecedented heights. Governments and corporations globally have not only recognised these issues but have also placed them at the forefront of their agendas, underscoring the vital role of sustainability consulting.
Our sector is poised for rapid expansion, expected to double in the next five years, positioning us at the vanguard of this dynamic growth market.
At Edge Impact, our purpose has always been clear: to assist our clients in making a positive global impact by addressing the world's most pressing challenges.
In this Decade of Action, we've expanded our reach, influence, and impact, aspiring to be a pivotal contributor in a world where the concept of 'unsustainable' becomes unthinkable.
We are witnessing transformative breakthroughs and paradigm shifts.
Mainstream commitments are scaling up renewable energy and phasing out fossil fuels in our energy systems. Decision-making processes are increasingly integrating nature as a foundational element rather than a mere planning consideration. And the circular economy is being recognised as the inevitable successor to the linear model.
While these concepts are familiar to us sustainability professionals, their adoption by the mainstream marks a significant milestone.
